Winter Conference 2011
On January 12, 2011 over 80 nurses attended the Central San Joaquin Valley Nursing Leadership Coalition Winter Conference, "The Future of Nursing in Health Care". Our guest speakers were Deloras Jones, Executive Director, California Institute for Nursing and Health Care (CINHC) and Pat MCFarland, CEO Association of California Nurse Leaders (ACNL) who presented information from the Institute of Medicine's (IOM's) landmark report on The Future of Nursing and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation campaign to guide the implementation of the recommendations from this report.
