Regular

Registered Nurses who function in leadership roles that optimize wellness within the California community. All regular members have full voting privileges.

RNs with any of the following responsibilities are eligible:

  1. Provides leadership in regulatory and other nursing and healthcare organizations
  2. Responsibility for management and/or leadership of the patient care process.
  3. Manages financial resources in healthcare.
  4. Manages and directs appropriate allocation and utilization of human resources.
  5. Provides education and/or consultation to healthcare.
  6. Provides healthcare in an advanced or independent practice role.
  7. Designs, conducts, or evaluates research.
  8. Conducts and/or provides leadership accreditation and/or licensing surveys.
  9. Publishes, edits or authors for a healthcare publication.
 
Honorary

Regular members who retire. Conferred at the discretion of the Executive Board. This member does not have voting privileges.

 
Associate

Professionals serving in leadership positions that augments nursing. Requires board approval. This member does not have voting privileges.

 
Student Associate

Students enrolled in nursing programs. This member does not have voting privileges.
