The Nursing Leadership Coalition (NLC) of the Central San Joaquin Valley is pleased to announce the 2010-2011 Nursing Leadership Scholarship Awards.

DESCRIPTION:
The mission of the Nursing Leadership Coalition is to develop nurse leaders, promote professional practice environments that enhance quality and patient safety, recognize excellence, promote community partnerships and influence health policy. Undergraduate and graduate nursing students with leadership qualities are valued and recognized as an integral component of council membership.

This Nursing Leadership Scholarship Awards are available to assist in the undergraduate and graduate academic preparation of nursing leaders in the valley with an award of up to $1,000.00 per individual. Undergraduate/graduate students with nursing leadership qualities are eligible and are strongly encouraged to apply. AWARDS:
Over the past several years, NLC has awarded over $10,000 in scholarships.
